Deer Valley, Utah

We took the kids on our annual ski trip to Deer Valley in Park City, Utah. The weather was unusually cold this year, but we bundled up and had a great time anyway! Check out all the photos here:

Photography Workshop

I attended (part of) a Bryan Peterson Photography Workshop on Saturday morning. It was fun to meet my on-line teacher in person and I learned quite a few things during the 1/2 day I spent with the group. Be sure to check out my creative photos page once in a while if you want to see some of my work: http://kylephotoart.shutterfly.com/

Spring Little League

Hard to belive that Opening Day for Spring 2010 Little League is already here! Brandon & Cameron are playing this season. Although he is an outstanding catcher, Justin doesn't enjoy baseball as much as his brothers and has decided to play hockey again this Spring. I put some new photos up on the boys sports site: http://baileyboyssports.shutterfly.com/

Nuclear Cowboyz

Kent & I took the kids + a few friends to see the Nuclear Cowbowz motorcycle jumping show at the St. Pete Times Forum. It was pretty exciting for the first half, but then was a bit repetative after that. How many different ways can you jump a motorcycle anyway? The kids had a good time anyway. Here are a few photos: http://kyle-bailey.com/nuccow/

And a short video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQH4G2_HJZc

Savannah, GA

Michele & I took the kids to Savannah, GA for the long weekend. This was Megan's first trip away from home. Here is a link to the trip blog with pic's & stories:http://kyle-savannah2010.blogspot.com/

To celebrate Michele & Justin's birthday, we got a suite for the Black Eyed Peas concert and let the kids invite some friends. Here are a few photos: http://kyle-bailey.com/bep/

Cameron's Birthday Party

Better late than never, right? We finally got around to throwing Cameron a proper birthday party (He turned 5 right after Christmas). We had the party at Muvico theaters and saw The Tooth Fairy. I think all the kids had a great time:

Gasparilla

It was windy, rainy, & chilly for the Gasparilla Parade this year. The weather was OK in the morning, when we met up with old friends at the UT brunch. The Royal Krewe of Sparta named Dad honorary King of the Krewe for 2010 and presented him with a ceremonial helmet. The weather deteriorated rapidly once we arrived at the staging area on Bayshore and waited for the parade to begin. We stood around in wind & drizzle for a couple hours until it was finally time to move out. We were wondering if anyone would show up to watch the parade, but there were plenty of people lining the route. Here are a few photos:

Cameron's Hockey Practice

It's amazing how much Cameron's skating has progressed since he started playing hockey in the Fall. He must have fallen 100 times during his first practice, but he kept getting back up. Now, he is gliding around, chasing the puck with the best of them. I've uploaded some new photos from his hockey practice on the boy's sport mini-site:

Megan & Mommy Come Home

Megan & Michele finally came home from this hospital on Thursday afternoon. The boys were SO excited to see them both. We spent a lot of time on the living room sofa taking turns holding Megan. They couldn't get enough!

I've started a mini-website just for Megan photos on Shutterfly. I will update it with new photos now and then, so bookmark it and check back often:

More Megan

Here are some photos taken during the delivery & our first day with Megan. Warning: A couple of these are a little graphic. Nothing too bad, just a little icky right after delivery.

Kart Racing

Brandon & I joined a few of my buddies for some Kart racing in Palmetto on Wednesday afternoon. These were not your typical kiddie go-carts. These were serious racing machines that topped 40mph on the back stretch. We all had tons of fun and Brandon did great. Can't wait to go back!

Christmas Day

We started out Christmas by going over to my parents for my Dad's famous biscuits & gravy. Then, we came home and opened presents. Everybody played with their stuff most of the day, then we went back to Mom & Dad's for dinner.
