Playing Hockey with the Lightning

Several members of the Tampa Bay Lightning have kids on the same travel team as our son, Justin.  The team hosted a Parent / Player game last week, and we had a BLAST!  It was a big thrill for me to skate & play hockey with Marty St. Louis, Brett Clark, and Guy Boucher --I think I had more fun than the kids!  :-)   Justin played goalie and Cameron was a forward.  Here are some photos:

Keller's Baptism

Ryan & Jenn had their son, Keller, baptized today and Michele was honored to be the Godmother.  We all got dressed up and went to church in St. Pete for the ceremony:

Cameron's First Hockey Game

Cameron played in his first, real hockey game!  He is on the Green Team and his big brother, Justin, is goalie.  It was great fun watching them play together.  You can see photos from this game and lots more at:

Halloween 2010

The kids had a great Halloween this year.  Brandon came home with a pillow-case full of candy that weighed in at over 20 pounds!  I hope he doesn't eat it all in one night...

Atlantis Resort, Nassau, Bahamas

Kent's family joined us for a long weekend at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas.  We spent a lot of time relaxing on the beach and riding water-slides with the kids.  We also had a Sea Lion encounter and snorkeled in the Ruins Lagoon (very large aquarium).  You can see all the photos here:

Pool Party at Pointe

Green Turtle Cay

Michele & I took the kids and her parents to Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Bahamas for one last getaway before school starts. We try to go every year after lobster season opens 8/1. Brandon went SCUBA diving again and, depsite some iffy weather, we all had a great time. See the photos here:

Easter in the Bahamas

I attended (part of) a Bryan Peterson Photography Workshop on Saturday morning. Hard to belive that Opening Day for Spring 2010 Little League is already here! Brandon & Cameron are playing this season. Nuclear Cowboyz

Kent & I took the kids + a few friends to see the Nuclear Cowbowz motorcycle jumping show at the St. Pete Times Forum. It was pretty exciting for the first half, but then was a bit repetative after that. How many different ways can you jump a motorcycle anyway? The kids had a good time anyway.
