Brandon goes SCUBA diving

Brandon turned 10 over the summer and is now old enough to get SCUBA certified. We decided to introduce him to diving with the "discover SCUBA" program at Brendal's Dive Center in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Bahamas. Robbie & his son (little Robbie, also 10) joined us as did Brian. Brandon & Robbie did really well on their first dive! We enjoyed a great dive, then Brendal took us to a deserted beach and cooked a delicious lunch of grouper & lobster over a fire pit on the beach. After lunch, we hand-fed the stingrays that hang around this area. The next day, we did some snorkeling on our own. Asheville, NC

Guana / Cape Santa Maria

Michele & I went to Guana Island, British Virgin Islands, and Cape Santa Maria, Long Island, Bahamas with JJ & Melanie. We really enjoyed it --the weather was great, the resorts were beautiful.
